I would like to vent in my own number to Jio. What should I do?
To Port in, SMS PORT <10-digit mobile number> into 1900 out of your Current amount which needs to be ported to Jio
You will get an SMS that will include the UPC code and its expiration date
Walk into the closest Jio Store or Jio Retailer with the UPC (Unique porting code)
Take your initial Aadhaar card or initial Proof of Address(POA) / Proof of Identity(POI) documents to place MNP ask
Note:
– Clear all of your pending dues with the current operator (in case you have a post-paid mobile link )
– As per government legislation; in case you are porting-in within the same telecom ring, the number is going to be activated within 3 working days after successful validation.
